He announced his return back on dry land with a Twitter photo saying: "Arrived at 10am local time. Happy to be on land have some ginger nuts."
Starting from San Francisco, Beeden rowed 11,296 kilometers to reach his final destination of Cairns in Australia and became the first person in history to do so.
He made his incredible journey in a six meter boat called "Socks II."
Beeden left on June 1 with the goal of completing his voyage in 180 days, however high winds, bad weather and lack of sleep slowed the rower down a bit, but he eventually made it.
Beeden said that the travel was "10,15, 100 times harder" than what he had originally thought.
He rowed up to 15 hours a day for seven months, which made him peer "right over the edge a number of times," BBC reported.
Also it was reported that Beeden had many times neared a breaking point, particularly on Christmas Day, when he tweeted:
The "scrawny old Yorkshireman" as Beeden calls himself, is originally from Sheffield, England but currently resides in Canada. In 2001 he rowed across the Atlantic in 53 days, the second fastest rowing on record.
In 2001, another British rower Jim Shekhdar had also rowed across the Pacific, but what differenciates Beeden is that he is the first person to row from South America to Australia.
54nm to go and with the wind and this current, I might not make it. 30nm will be a grind. Devising new arrival plan will update in morning
