Nigerian footballer Mikel Obi who was recently made the captain of the Super Eagles has dropped the band today (quits the position) saying he's no longer interested in been a captain of the Nigeria Super Eagles team.
The ex captain also said he has an intention of retiring from football this year, both internationally as a Chelsea defender and from the Nigeria Super Eagles team. When he was interviewed, to find out what made him took such decision he said:
TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF APRIL, IT'S AN APRIL FOOL PRANK
Such a thing never happened it's just a made up story, welcome to a new month, hope you don't get prank after now.
