In recent times, most Africans especially from Nigeria, go in search for greener pastures in European countries (Italy, Spain, and other European countries) by Road. They, migrants from Nigeria will have to walk through the desert to Libya, and from Libya they will cross the Mediterranean ocean to get to Italy. According to those migrants who couldn't make it to the European country of their choice or those who get there and get deported back to their country have this to say.
" Traveling by road to any part of the world is not what anyone should think of, It s not an easy task at all.
we do live in search of greener pastures, but we do not have enough money to travel by air as it is very expensive. The little we have will be enough to travel by road that is why we attempt it. It is very risky."

In short, that is all they have to say. But come to think of it, you can hardly here that there is someone or there are people migrating from the United States of America to Nigeria, or people migrating from Europe to Nigeria. I have never heard about it, I do not know about you.
The question now is, why must we, Nigerians risk our lives and go to other countries?. The answer is:

"If i have an occupation here in Nigeria and i make a profit of 50,000 thousand naira monthly or i am employed and i get paid 50,000 monthly i won't think of attempting to migrate to another country by road and risk my life, all in the name of searching for greener pasture, what other greener pasture will i search for when i make an income of 50,000 naira monthly, that is where contentment comes in.
Another question, is, what about someone that has no occupation, or a graduate that is unemployed, in a country like Nigeria and out of frustration he attempts migrating by road to a European country to search for greener pasture.
This is where the Nigeria government comes in. What plans are the government having to reduce the number of unemployed youths in the streets? The migration will not stop unless the migrants will have what they are going to search for in another country here in Nigeria.
If as a family, some members of your family, keep coming to my home the illegitimate way I'll assume i am far more better than you that is why your family is coming to seek shelter in my home, because my home will be more comfortable for them. That is exactly how other countries look down on the supposed 'GIANT OF AFRICA' Nigeria. When will all this stop?

A minimum of 5,000 Africans migrated by road to other countries, men, women and even teenagers. All in search for a better life, let's make that better life availabe in our respective countries, we have all it takes, let's do it. CAN WE?
